Senior Import and Export Analyst - Your future position?

As a member of the Taste and Wellbeing area, reporting to the Import and Export Manager, you'll coordinate the importation process of materials, including monitoring the availability of the Purchase Order (PO) with the supplier, evaluating the best mode of shipment and possible consolidation process, and analyzing all requirements in advance according to current legislation (import license, special procedures) for formalizing the importation process, always identifying cost reduction opportunities with material planning. You will also monitor the customs clearance process with the customs broker and delivery scheduling to Givaudan's plant or contracted HUB. You will also monitor potential international agreements (FTA) to apply benefits to our importation processes.

This is an onsite position with the benefit of 1 day of home office.

In this exciting role, you will:

• Import and Export Process Monitoring
• Responsible for monitoring import and export processes with freight agents and customs brokers, preparing documents, providing necessary information for cargo clearance. Maintaining continuous communication of status to internal clients, ensuring transparency and meeting deadlines.
• Monthly Performance Reports
• Responsible for monitoring expenses related to importation or exportation, always seeking improvements and corrections when applicable.
• Expense Notes
• Control the receipt, verification, and delivery to the finance department of expense notes related to the importation process.
• Cost Estimation
• Provide cost estimation for importation and exportation processes when necessary.
• Compliance with Norms and Procedures
• This analyst should be familiar with all the defined NPPs (Norms and Procedures) for the area.

You?

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, International Relations, Economics, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in Foreign Trade or related areas.
• Previous experience in the same industry, chemical or pharmaceutical, is desirable.
• Desirable experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of the Importation and Exportation Process Flow.
• Knowledge of Customs Legislation (RFB, Anvisa, Mapa, PF).
• SAP knowledge.
• Advanced English.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions) (desirable).
