(Jr) Key Account Manager – Catalyst Program

About the program:

Based in Algiers, Algeria, the role reports to the Country Manager Algeria & Sales Manager Maghreb, and offers excellent opportunities for both personal and professional development.

 

Core Responsibilities

· Under supervision, grow Givaudan business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines

· Cultivate and manage customer relationships within portfolio of accounts

· Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information

· Track Account Plans for key accounts

· Develop and deliver internal and customer presentations

· Identify/create opportunities for Givaudan to participate in targeted briefs

· Identify customer requirements and follow up on customer submission

· Transition customer projects and new wins from scale-up to production

· Follow KPIs versus targets (Sales, Gross Profit, win rate…) and take corrective actions if necessary

· Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines

· Manage credit, pricing, rebates and budget etc. for key accounts

· Manage and resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution

· Comply with all appropriate Givaudan and statutory EHS and regulatory guidelines

 

Your profile:

Professional Background

· University degree (or equivalent)

· 5-8 years of commercial work experience, preferably from the fragrance industry

· 1+ years' functional/technical experience in the chemical industry would be an advantage

· Flexibility to travel outside of Algeria

· Excellent verbal and written command of English, French and Arabic

· Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers

· Strong communication skills

· Competence in developing and delivering compelling presentations

· Demonstrates a strong sense of accountability

· Basic negotiation skills

· Good business acumen

· Passion for the Fragrance Industry
