Join us as the Head of Sales for our Ingredients Sub Unit, where you will lead global sales and account management for an assigned ingredient group. You will encompass business and sales leadership, and people development responsibilities for a global ingredient sub unit.

You will be based in Argenteuil, France and you will report to the Taste & Wellbeing Ingredients Head.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

Build and Drive the Sales Strategy and Plans:

  • Develop a global sales strategy aligned with the BU strategy for profitable growth.
  • Create Account Development Plans (ADPs) to enhance sales growth and profitability for key accounts.
  • Foster partnerships with key accounts, establishing relationships with senior management and ensuring top-level connections globally.

 

Ensure Successful Execution:

  • Collaborate with the Global Portfolio, Technical, Regulatory, and Marketing teams to commercialize the BU catalogue.
  • Oversee global Demand Planning coordination, price negotiations, and other sales activities.
  • Initiate and manage main projects with Technical, Marketing, and Portfolio Management to achieve sustainable and profitable growth.

 

Team, Transversal Leadership:

  • Establish a global organization to meet strategic needs.
  • Manage the Sales Team with full account and sales management responsibility to protect and grow assets.
  • Collaborate across global teams in the Ingredients BU and T&W sales organization to achieve objectives.
  • Participate as a member of the IBU Leadership Team.

 

Education and Experience:

  • University degree in Business Administration.
  • At least 12 years experience in relevant field.
  • Experience with relevant business dynamics and product knowledge.
  • Broad knowledge of food ingredients and flavor landscape.
  • Experience managing sales areas and teams internationally.
  • Experience with relevant business, market dynamics and product.

  • Strategic thinking, visionary, change agent
  • Effective people management skills, team player providing focus and direction with the ability to resolve conflicts constructively
  • Work in multicultural matrix environment and building networks across departments and geography
  • knowledge of key account/segment/region/country/category, including market, general business climate, competitive landscape, financial potential.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships with customer decision makers and influencers; enlist participation of company senior managers to influence decision makers
  • Engage Account Management teams in periodic reviews of ADPs and action plans
  • Knowledge of pricing guidelines within country
