Savoury Food Technologist

Join our renowned team and report directly to the French savoury application Manager as a Savoury Food Technologist.

You'll collaborate with esteemed technologists and flavorists, key account managers , marketing and sensory experts

You'll be at the heart of innovation, co creating with customers to develop delicious new experiences that captivate consumers across the french market .

Your culinary contributions will include :

• Lead the way in innovation: Partner with different teams to design captivating savoury food products and plant-based offerings.
• Be a technical expert: Share your profound knowledge, advising colleagues across departments on achieving their culinary goals.
• Coordinate with sales and local CSI ( consumer sensory insights ) to shape the sensory experiences of tomorrow

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:

• Provide technical support to customers or through project briefs, including the recommendation of flavours and technical information on application issues
• Prepare, organize, and execute state-of-the-art flavoured food products for customer presentations.
• Recommend flavours for customer projects according to all relevant requirements
• Develop new application recipes and new concepts for customers, based on new developments in the market, trends and new raw materials.
• Be an independent senior project leader for your allocated projects
• Arrange and conduct tasting sessions
• Support the Flavour portfolio expert in maintaining the savoury portfolio
• Ensure projects are carried out following customer requirements ( objective , deadline , cost )

Your professional profile includes :

• A degree in food science / technology
• 10+ years of experience in savoury food applications with a strong experience in plant-based products and production knowledge
• An understanding of the savoury taste of the french market
• Experience developing successful savoury food products including plant-based applications
• Developed tasting skills on flavour profiles
• Great experience in project management
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to engage all partners
• Team focus style whilst being able to work independently
• Be fluent in french and english language
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to exceeding expectations
• Ingredient knowledge is a plus
