Senior Financial Accountant - Your future role?

As a Senior Financial Accountant in Argenteuil, you will maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data in the systems to ensure reporting according to regulations and company requirements.

You will report to the Finance Operations Manager.

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

General Accounting

  • Manage Balance Sheet and P&L reviews in close relationship with the Shared Services Center

  • Prepare current tax returns (VAT, Intrastat, Income tax, CVAE, CFE, TVS, C3S, DAS2) and declare them within the set deadlines

  • Reconcile and justify the accounts on a monthly basis

  • Participate in monthly reporting tasks

  • Investigate major variances and follow up for resolution following the predefined timetable set by Corporate Reporting

  • Help with Fiscal reporting preparation (statutory accounts and corporate tax) for internal finance and external audit.

  • Perform troubleshooting related to General Accounting entries and involving the Shared Services Center to make required adjustments

  • Identify problem areas in processes and work with the relevant teams to create solutions

  • Support multiple surveys preparation & communication (INSEE, Banque de France, BPI, et…) within the set deadlines

  • Other assignments in different fields delegated by the Accounting Manager/Financial Manager.

 

Internal controls over financial accounting and reporting (ICON)

  • Maintain dashboard – ensure controls have been completed

  • Perform spot checks

 

You have:

  • University or College degree (preferably Law/Finance/Controlling): BTS comptabilité et gestion, DCG, DSCG.

  • 5+ years of experience, part of which is in a chartered accounting and auditing firm, or in an international group

  •  Fluent in French and English

  • Service-oriented mindset bringing value to our company

  • Experience in SAP ERP system
