Senior Manager FIM Best Palette- Your future position?

As a Senior Manager in the Fragrance Ingredients Management (FIM) organization, you will second the Head of FIM Best Palette by leading and contributing to key initiatives of the department. You will be based in Argenteuil, France.

Reporting to the Head of FIM Best Palette, you play an active role in the Givaudan Ingredients Strategy, through establishing a pivotal link with Perfumers and Flavourists community worldwide, and executing the Ingredient Best Palette continuous transformation according to essential creative needs.

Your extensive perfumery expertise allows you to interact productively with all relevant stakeholders, to provide appropriate solutions and help define efficient strategies to build the "Best Palette" for and with our perfumers and flavourists.

Being instrumental to the Fragrance & Beauty division growth and industry leadership, within the Fragrances & Ingredients Management department, reporting to the Head of FIM Best Palette

You will:

  • Second the Head of FIM Best Palette and the team to deliver on the core missions of the department, focusing mainly on Ingredient Best Palette strategy
  • Lead projects related to the perfumer's and flavourist's palette transformation according to the Givaudan Ingredients strategy
  • Capture, prioritize and arbitrate the perfumers' needs in terms of ingredients
  • Engage, collaborate and influence relevant internal customers and stakeholders, driving the progress of the Ingredient agenda to ensure all business needs are understood and fulfilled
  • Develop key performance indicators together with Head of FIM Analytics to ensure Best Palette activities are following the needs, the strategy and contribute to win rate and growth
  • Pilot together with Head of FIM Best Palette the development of processes and systems to allow a lean execution of new ingredient additions to the palette.

Your professional profile includes:

  • University Degree/Business/Chemistry/Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 10+ years of experience in the Fragrance Industry or in related industries on the supplier or customer side.
  • A passion for the Fragrance Industry and smelling; expert olfactory skills, ability to understand the formulae and communicate in fragrance language.
  • Functional experience can be in fields such as perfumer, evaluator, creation/development functions, Science & Technology, procurement, quality, and project management
  • Ability to translate stakeholders' requirements into effective strategies and actions
  • Thrive and foster cross-functional and cross-division collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to structure processes with demonstrated project management skills
  • Proven ability to lead by influence and motivate multicultural and cross functional teams
  • Affinity for information systems and data management.
  • Languages: English, French
