Senior Pricing Analyst – Argenteuil, France – Your future position?

As a Senior Pricing Analyst in our Argenteuil site, you will perform day-to-day pricing activities and provide pricing recommendations in order to ensure global pricing consistency and profitability according to company's business objectives.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

Establishing constructive and proactive partnership with all key stakeholders in the pricing process with ‘Pricing for Profitable Win Approach’

 

Being responsible for timely and quality Price Setting and Maintenance

  • Perform pricing activities such as computing pricing of fragrances products, providing target costs to Evaluators, validation of the New Business orders 
  • Provide pricing recommendations for briefs to the Commercial Organization with supporting analysis based on Pricing Policies and market activity
  • Manage DOA process by level of allowance from Regional Head to Head of Division F&B
  • Work cross-functionality with Sales, Controlling, Operations, Evaluators to support business needs and participate in several interac-tions and meetings with those functions.

 
Monitoring, protect and improve Gross Margin

  • Define action recommendations to avoid gross margin erosion 
  • Analyse regularly gross margin and identify product cost issues and address these with Procurement, Operations, Finance & Technical groups as appropriate
  • Manage annual price adjustments for significant raw material impact, manufacturing cost changes or margin improvement on exist-ing products 
  • Annually reviewing and updating rebate%, payment term% and other incentives captured in IBIS Admin table
  • Review existing rebate agreements and define new rebate agreements in collaboration with the Sales group by providing P&L analy-sis. Challenge & make recommendations to the Sales Group.  
  • Calculate annual rebates and send approval to Customer Care & Finance to pay
  • Check commission fees calculated by Sales and send approval to Finance to pay
  • Calculate the Free cash flow impact for any request of extension of payment terms and follow the DOA process of approval

 

Supporting Customer service excellence on pricing/order issues

 

Guaranteeing Compliance with the Pricing Policies and Guidelines

  • Support definition, documentation, implementation and maintenance of pricing related guidelines and principles
  • Ensure Data maintenance and quality in all Pricing processes and systems
  • Contribute to development of pricing strategy in collaboration with the Regional Pricing Head of the W.E.E region
  • Liaise with Legal to ensure financial terms and conditions of customer rebate agreements comply with Givaudan & Local require-ments
  • Liaise with Tax and treasury to ensure customer agreements and price quotations take into account potential foreign exchange rate and appropriate incoterms.
  • Liaise with Transportation team to define the freight cost for specific customer request
     

About you:

  • University Degree in Business, Finance or other relevant areas
  • Minimum 3 years in industry pricing or finance, account management or sales coordination role in F&B industry or experience in Fra-grance industry in Commercial
  • Preferably previous customer interaction experience
  • Proficient in communicating in English 
  • Proven ability to deal with complex IT systems
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office
  • Solid understanding of pricing mechanisms including profitability
  • Solid process and project management skills
  • Very strong analytical / numerical skills
  • Preferably previous SAP experience
