We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Technical Perfumer to join our Fragrance and Ingredient Management, Technical Perfumery & Best Palette team in Argenteuil, France.

The role reports to our Head of Best Palette & Technical Perfumery.

In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the evolution of our fragrance portfolio by reformulating and optimizing fragrances to meet technical, regulatory, and sustainability requirements—while preserving each creation fragrance signature.

You will act as a key bridge between sensorial artistry and technical mastery, applying your unique expertise to ensure our fragrances continue to inspire, connect, and delight people around the world.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Reformulate and adapt fragrance formulations in alignment with creation and clients guidelines
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners—from Sales, Evaluation to Regulatory Affairs—and engage strongly with customers to drive successful project execution
• Develop ingredient alternatives that comply with evolving regulations or other challenges
• Contribute to global initiatives by assessing and implementing advanced technical perfumery solutions
• Act as a technical reference, sharing insights, good practices within the global Givaudan perfumery community
• Partner with Quality Control on ingredient management and olfactive integrity
• Stay at the forefront of industry developments, ingredient innovation and regulatory changes
• Maintain proficiency in tools and processes through ongoing internal learning and training

Your profile:

• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a Technical or Creative Perfumer within the fragrance industry, with exposure to diverse categories and international markets
• Strong customer orientation coupled with solid technical and commercial understanding
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-focused approach
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with precision and creativity
• Highly adaptable and resilient, excelling in fast-evolving environments and performing confidently under challenging situations
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French considered an asset
