Quality Assurance Controller (m/f/d)

As Quality Assurance Controller you will assure the safety, compliance, legality and quality of our products. You will work largely unsupervised supporting the execution of the Quality Assurance, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Strategy.

 

You will be based in Ashord and report directly to the Head of Quality and Improvement.

 

In this exciting role you will :

  • Provide support to the QA / QM Manager by performing analysis and interpretation / trending of reported data from multiple sources
  • Lead investigations into non-conformance and make batch release decisions associated to process deviations
  • Lead and implement assigned actions related to quality assurance requirements
  • Lead the execution of the internal audit programme and subsequent CAPA process
  • Provide a good level of knowledge and interpretation of quality related policies, standards, procedures and requirements in daily work life (reviewing business processes, improvement projects, audits, meetings)
  • Analyse and interpret CI / performance indicators / improvement project data, define and propose improvements
  • Promote quality principles and culture by working cross functionally, being visible, walking the floor, participating in SOED/VPM meetings in multiple functions
  • Assess the capability of external service providers, vendors, contractors or toll manufacturers to ensure that their products or services meet our quality standards/contractual requirements
  • Participate in audits of external service providers as a Lead Auditor
  • Provide quality related training to the function
  • Introduce training and subsequent coach less experienced QA officers / internal auditors / staff in operations and all other site functions
  • Provide guidance to team members regarding the update of their departmental manuals, procedures and SOP's
  • Be the "Reviewer" of local QMS documentation

Your success profile includes:

  • Vocational Diploma in an appropriate technical field
  • Overall work experience of 5+ of which 5+ years in a similar position
  • 1 or more year of coaching experience
  • Experience with HACCP Level III
  • Experience using computer-based Management Applications
  • Expert level of understanding of the principles of Quality Management Systems e.g. ISO 9001 and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of business processes in Operations and in other Site functions/businesses (Manufacturing, Distribution and Creation, Procurement, Sample/Application labs, Ingredients, Oral care, Active Beauty)
  • Can change, form relationships and lead continuous improvement
