We are recruiting a Financial Accountant for a temporary contract of six months, to be filled as soon as possible, in order to support the Finance team during the study of the potential implementation of SAP. The position is based in Avignon, France


As a Financial Accountant, you will maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data in the systems to ensure timely reporting according to regulations and company requirements.


Sounds interesting? You will:


  • Provide accounting support to the existing Finance team on all the operational missions needed;
  • Prepare and book the accounting entries in the accounting software (Navision), according to the IFRS and statutory accounting standards;
  • Prepare the monthly financial reporting for the Group's consolidation;
  • Accomplish Balance Sheet and P&L reviews in close relationship with the controlling functions;
  • Investigate major variances and follow up for timely resolution following the predefined timetable set by Corporate Reporting;
  • Provide regular analysis for major variances and for any other needs;
  • Prepare draft reports for Fiscal reporting (statutory accounts and Corporation tax computation);
  • Identify problem areas in processes and work with the relevant teams to create solutions;
  • Participate in the annual audit.


Your professional profile includes:


  • Business school degree in Finance and Accounting, or a higher education degree in Accounting such as DECF/DESCF (or international equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in the field of Accounting in an international environment
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Service-oriented mindset bringing value to the organization
