General Accountant Intern - Your future position?

As a General Accountant intern in Avignon, you will be part of the accounting department and report to the Accounting Manager.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Invoices booking, bank statements, general accounting entries,
  • Prepare financial documents, balance sheets, income statements, monthly reports…,
  • Maintaining regular contact with the entity in Vallauris (travels limited nevertheless),
  • Assist other team members for team objectives,
  • Establish long term and process,
  • Prepare tax return, especially VAT,
  • Follow fixed assets, capitalization & disposal, projects following,
  • Follow and booking of monthly accruals, provisions, prepayments,
  • Intercompany reconciliations

 

You have:

  • As for the required profile, the desired minimum level is a BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur), and having obtained a DCG (Diplôme de Comptabilité et de Gestion).
  • Knowledge of Sage software could also be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, especially Excel (knowledge of tables and formulas), is important.
  • French and English speaking.
  • Other qualities sought include rigor, method,, responsiveness, autonomy, and the ability to work in a team.
