About the position:
We are looking for a Global Accounts Manager for Sense Colour to lead the development and execution of our T6 customer strategies. You will collaborate with the Sense Colour Team and Givaudan's World Account Managers to achieve success. Your expertise in business acumen will be essential as you create the business plans grounded in key performance metrics and market insights. You will excel in proactive account leadership, promoting external collaborations and building relationships with our T6 customers, which include industry leaders such as Coca-Cola, PepsiCo (Beverage and Food), Nestlé, Danone, and Unilever.
You will report to the Global Account Director Color Sense and you can be based in one of the Givaudan center's in Western Europe (e.g.: Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany etc.)
Main Responsibilities:
- Uphold DDW’s Mission Statement, Quality Policy, Values and Beliefs
- Create and complete Account Development Plans to create new revenue streams at the T6 accounts by using the Sense Colour BU Value Proposition, and provide quarterly executive summary of progress and obstacles to the Sense Colour Leadership Team.
- Achieve revenue and margin targets generated for our T6 customers through close collaboration with the Sense Colour Regional teams.
- Lead to build relationships between the T6 organizations and the appropriate Sense Colour associate, including RAMs, KAMs, technical, quality, operations and supply chain.
- Maintain our positive client relationships.
- Maintain understanding of each customer’s brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses and potential.
- Demonstrate an excellent competitor understanding within these key accounts. Create strategies to overcome the key competitive challenges.
- Be in tune with the Sense Colour BU capabilities, capacities and limitations and use that foundation to accomplish solution-based selling.
- Work in close collaboration with Science & Innovation and other Senior Leaders to identify and prioritize new product innovation and ensure appropriate documentation is completed to facilitate co-creation with global customers.
- Maintain updated knowledge of the Sense Colour T6 opportunity funnel through regional account managers and the Color Assessment Team.
- Ensure knowledge of T6 briefs which are integrated solution opportunities through collaboration with the Givaudan KAMs and Givaudan World Account Managers.
Requirements:
- 10-15+ years of experience as a successful Sales Manager in the Food Ingredient Industry, color experience preferred
- Impeccable leadership, communication (oral, written, and presentation), organization, analytical, and business skills.
- Experience negotiating with customers
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Food Science required. Master's degree in Marketing or Business a plus.
- Work well in multi-regional settings and able to facilitate team collaboration.
- English language knowledge is a must, any other European language is a plus.
- Travel domestically and internationally to other DDW facilities and customers will be required (35%).
