As Global Ingredients (Demand & Supply) Manager (m/f/d) you ensure supply for a portfolio of Global Ingredients and associated raw materials by coordinating a full S&OP process including demand and supply reviews.

You will balance supply with cost and inventory by engaging with the relevant partners on demand plans, supply network, raw material procurement plans, strategy, manufacturing capacity, profitability, commercial strategy and supply chain targets.

You will report directly to the Head of Natural Ingredients Supply T&W. You will be based in any site in Europe with preference Avignon (France) or Budapest (Hungary).

 

You will:

 

S&OP Management

  • Facilitate and coordinate the Global Ingredient S&OP and full process cycle including demand review, supply review, and the S&OP to increase growth, profitability and mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Controlling and Sales
  • Track the demand plan (min 18 months horizon) in collaboration with demand planning
  • Work on the Global Product Strategies, translating the long term (3-5 years) strategy of the portfolio into procurement plans, Operations capacity, supply chain and commercial strategic plans
  • Collaborate with other Global Ingredient Managers to consolidate information and decisions into Category and Executive S&OP meetings

 

Risk management

  • Support risk mitigation process for global category raw materials by coordinating mitigation plans and escalations and managing strategic inventory
  • Support Strategic material review and High Risk material reviews
  • Identify potential supply issues early, develop mitigation options with S&OP team and achieve decision through Risk management process and (Executive) S&OP

 

Service Management

  • Conduct service and root cause analysis and engage with the sites and regions ensuring supply security for affiliates and customers
  • Inventory and Cost Management
  • Analyze and implement globally optimized inventory in collaboration with (Global Business Solutions) supply planning, Work with relevant partners on inventory and cost optimization in the portfolio

 

Your professional profile includes:

  • Minimal Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Operations leadership functions
  • Broad experience in the flavor, ingredient or fragrance industry
  • Expert in Supply Chain and Operations
  • Experienced in demand and Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Capacity Analysis, Costing, Planning processes and Supply Chain Best Practices
  • APICS and CI/lean/6 Sigma Certification
  • Expert in escalations, allocation programs, capacity balancing
  • Working knowledge BI, BO, - Advanced experience with Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) Google Sheets
  • Experience with SAP, NatBase
  • Business Fluent in English. Additional languages (French) are useful
  • Project management skills
