We are recruiting a Microbiology Technologist, temporary contract of 8 months.


Primary responsibilities:


•    Execute and record challenge tests within the S&T group. This involves the use of routine methods applied to food products and also the optimization of the protocols in place.
•    Maintainance of the collection of microorganisms.
•    Ensure the proper functioning of the microbiology laboratory and its safety.
•    Input microbiological data into appropriate systems and conduct data analyses.
•    Be involved in the writing and updating of Scientific reports, Standard Operating Procedures relating to microbiological monitoring and sampling, either as the author or by providing technical information and advice to the author.
•    Communicate data a regular basis.


Skills:
•    A microbiology degree: at least BTS microbiology level.
•    Experience working in a safety level 2 microbiology laboratory.
•    Experience in classic methods of microbiology: sampling, serial dilutions, plating, and reading methods.
•    Experience in molecular biology would be a plus.
•    A good experience with a variety of microbiological sampling and analytical methods.
•    Teamwork spirit.
•    Open to other technical methods, beyond microbiology.
