Pricing Analyst EAME


For the Naturex business (ingredients) of the GIVAUDAN Flavours Division, support the Global Naturex Pricing Manager on the implementation of the EAME pricing strategy to ensure pricing consistency and profitability according to company's business objectives. 


Core Responsibilities


Perform daily pricing activities and provide pricing recommendations to ensure pricing consistency and profitability according to the company's business objectives 

  • Business Partnering with the EAME commercial organization in all pricing aspects to provide the best pricing recommendation through analysis and agreement on Global Product Managers guidance
  • Support the continued improvement of pricing guidelines, processes, and monitoring applications


Manage and quality Price Setting and Maintenance

  • Manage ongoing pricing activities such as maintaining price lists and price monitoring processes 
  • Provide pricing reviewed quotations with supporting analysis, coordinate pricing process for identified key accounts (tenders)
  • Manage DOA process, ensure training and compliance within the region and be part of discount request review


Monitor, protect and improve Gross Margin

  • Analyze on a regular basis gross margin and identify product cost issues and address these with Procurement, Operations, Finance & Technical groups.
  • Support the EAME sales team and global pricing during the annual customer price increases
  • Guide the pricing analytics package by ensuring appropriate monitoring and review KPI's with commercial partners


Guarantee Compliance with the Pricing Guidelines

  • Support implementation and maintenance of pricing related guidelines and principles 
  • Ensure Data maintenance and quality in all Pricing processes and systems
  • Support the Global Pricing Manager in all requests/plans relative to the market


Academic Background


  • University or Business School Degree (M.Sc.) in Business, Economics, Finance or other relevant areas




  • 3+ years in Ingredient/ Flavours / Fragrance industry within pricing, marketing, finance
  • Former Pricing experience 
  • Previous customer interaction experience


Technical Skills


  • Proficiency in English / Business fluent
  • Regular travel in EAME (minimum 1 week/month) 
  • Experienced in communicating and presenting / business partnering skills 
  • Very strong analytical/numerical skills (MUST)
  • Inspired for actions and results
  • Experience dealing with complex IT systems and Excellent skills in MS Excel
  • Good market knowledge (customers, segments, market practices) (on the job learning)
  • Experience with pricing techniques
  • This position with a report to the Global Pricing Manager Naturex
