Pricing Analyst Ingredients


For the Ingredients business of the GIVAUDAN Taste & Wellbeing Division, support the implementation of the pricing strategy in order to ensure proper pricing guidance to sustain and improve profitability according to the company's objectives. 

This position will report to the Global Ingredient Pricing Manager

Core Responsibilities:

Provide pricing recommendations in order to ensure pricing consistency and profitability according to the company's business objectives :
•    Provide pricing recommendations through adequate analysis, in alignment with Global Product Managers and using Procurement inputs
•    Supports the continued improvement of pricing guidelines and processes


Responsible for timely and quality Price Setting and Maintenance:
•    Manage ongoing pricing activities such as maintaining price lists and price monitoring processes 
•    Improve the approach and models used to set prices guidances


Monitor, protect, and improve Gross Margin:
•    Analyse gross margin and address any issues such as low margins with Procurement, Operations, Finance & Technical groups as appropriate
•    Participate in the preparation and coordination of the annual customer price increases process
•    Drive the various pricing analytics package by ensuring appropriate monitoring


Guarantee Compliance with the Pricing Policies and Guidelines:
•    Support implementation and maintenance of pricing-related guidelines and principles 
•    Ensure Data maintenance and quality in all pricing processes and systems
•    Support the Global Pricing Manager in all requests/initiatives relative to the market

Your profile:
•    University or Business School Degree (M.Sc.) in Business, Economics, Finance, or other relevant areas
•    3-5 years experience in pricing, marketing, or finance; ideally in the food and beverage or flavor / fragrance / pharma industry
•    Former Pricing or deal management or procurement experience 

     You have: 

  • A Service-oriented mindset, pragmatism, and a hands-on mentality
  • A good feeling for numbers, an analytical mindset, and a good level of problem-solving skills
  • Developed strong interpersonal skills and an excellent approach to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel (this is a must)
  • Proficiency in communicating in English, other languages are an asset
