Regulatory Science Manager - Plant Attitude (part-time) – your future position?

As Regulatory Science Manager

 

You will work within our Taste & Wellbeing Global Regulatory Advocacy & Science Department to support the development & commercialisation of new developments in the fields of flavour and food ingredient solutions for plant alternative products. You will involve close collaboration with Scientists, Product management and regional Regulatory teams.

  • Support T&S Head of Regulatory Advocacy and Science as assigned with scientific and technical contribution
  • Proactive partner for Science & Innovation to facilitate the commercialisation of products
  • Regulatory and scientific review of new ingredients and processes developed by Science & Technology (S&T) group
  • Advise S&T with regards to regulatory and scientific questions on S&T projects and provide trainings on regulatory topics
  • Understanding of global registration requirements for flavour & food regulations to support compilation and filling of regulatory submission
  • Manage scientific information to support projects
  • Collaborate with regional teams to gather and consolidate regulatory information from different jurisdictions.
  • Stay informed about latest regulatory and scientific trends and industry changes, and proactively communicate updates to our organization.

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • University Degree (minimum Master) in a scientific field such as Food Science, Chemistry or related disciplines
  • 7 years of relevant regulatory experience in Flavours or Food or related industry
  • Knowledge of the food industry regulatory issues and trends, understanding of its customer regulatory requirements and market dynamics for food ingredients and flavourings
  • Strong communication (both written and oral)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholder
  • Problem-solving and Decision quality skills
  • Customer focus and Drive for results
  • Proactive mind-set
  • System proficiency, SAP experience is a plus
  • Business Fluency in English is required and proficiency in other languages is a plus
