Sales Director France, F&NI

Sales Director France, F&NI - Your future position?


As a Sales Director France, you will lead the Functional & Nutritional Ingredients commercial teams to ensure commercial performance while defining and managing the growth strategy. 

You will be an active member of the French Leadership Team and effectively lead and develop the French F&NI team and will report directly to the Commercial Director France.


This role will be based in Argenteuil, France.


In this exciting job you will:



  • You will lead the development of the Go to Market Strategy
  • You will oversee all pricing negotiations and activities within the country, segment or category and set up pricing strategy and guidelines together with the Pricing team, and drive its execution



  • You will develop partnerships with key accounts, including relationships with senior-level management
  • You will ensure access and knowledge about the latest innovation, capabilities, tools, consumer/market insights, and cross-regional industry and segment trends for the region, share and articulate market needs to CoEs
  • You will work with Key Account Managers to develop ADPs to drive sales growth and profitability for key accounts with the greatest potential

Manage & monitor: 

  • You will manage the Sales Team with full account and business management responsibility to protect and grow assets for the designated account(s) within the country and segment
  • You will monitor market and sales (including KPIs and budget) within the region, taking corrective actions when necessary to ensure sales goals are achieved



  • You will inspire the team to enable a high performing team environment with talented, motivated team players
  • You will initiate, manage and monitor key projects with FC&A, Marketing, and Business Units

Your professional profile includes:


  • At least 8-10 years of Commercial experience within the F&NI Industry
  • Proven track record of delivering profitable sales growth consistently above industry levels in the F&NI Industry (Colors, Botanicals, Extracts, etc), pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple cultures, functions, and levels within the organization to coordinate activities with an assigned global customer
  • An outstanding communicator, relationship builder, leader, and team builder with out-of-the-box thinking
  • Strong strategic Account Development Planning skills
  • Thorough knowledge of customer’s global and regional strategies
  • Effective global negotiator
  • In-depth knowledge of customer(s), strategies, initiatives, commercial needs, and product launch processes
  • Extensive knowledge of competitor activity
  • Senior-level presentation skills
  • Fluent or native in English and French
