We are recruiting for a Creative Fragrance Manager (CFM) for the Home and Fabric Care categories, to be part of our Fragrance Evaluation team, based in Baierbrunn Germany, to offer excellent opportunities for both your personal and professional development.
Our CFM's are olfactive development specialists whose primary goal is to guide Perfumers in the fragrance development process. To do so, CFM's understand the market and the consumer's behaviour and preferences, having a strategic view to analyse current olfactive trends, while forecasting future ones.
You will be in charge of the fragrance development process alongside Account Managers (Sales), Perfumers, Marketing, Consumer Market Research, and Laboratory experts.
The Creative Fragrance manager will report to the Head of Fragrance Development Management
In this exciting role you will:
Projects
- Manage internal resources according to project priority set by the head of Fragrance Development
- Set up action plans/time tables for each brief.
- Set general fragrance directions, organize evaluation sessions, evaluate candidates and provide feedback to perfumers.
- Coordinate with other departments specific needs on briefs.
- Ensure feedback to the sales teams
Creation
- Motivate and stimulate perfumers to achieve optimum creation
- Create confidence and inspiration.
- Investigate potentially promising olfactive routes with perfumers
- Monitor and update the the quality of the Fragrance Library (Colibri)
- Develop a good olfactive knowledge of marketing brands
- Feed marketing with olfactive judgment of strategic marketing products and be ready to give olfactive presentations to clients

- Develop a better understanding of consumer attitudes thanks to market research
- Develop an understanding of client's culture thanks to marketing
- Feed the affiliates with the best themes created to keep them up to date with the collection and use local Creative Fragrance Managers' for upgrade on local taste

Your professional profile includes:
- Advanced degree in perfumery
- 5+ years experience in fragrance evaluation or similar role
- Knowledge of the industry and the customers
- Good knowledge of naturality aspects
- Passion for perfume and olfaction
- Excellent communication skills (as well as diplomacy, tenacity, curiosity, resilience, creativity, proactivity, storytelling)
- Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle several projects at once
- Fluency in English
