Quality Control Analyst (m/w/d)

Quality Control Analyst (m/w/d) - Your future role?


As a Quality Control Analyst you will inspect and analyze raw materials, intermediates and finished goods by performing sensory, physical and analytical tests to secure compliance with product safety regulations, specifications and standards.
You will be located in Baierbrunn and directly reporting to the Quality Control Manager.


You will:


  • Perform a variety of quality control related sensory assessments on finished and unfinished products
  • Perform gas chromatography and mass spectrometry
  • Lead a variety of analysis, e.g. titrations to determine acid values and water content, measuring melting and flash points and also density and refraction to determine the physical characteristics of the sample
  • Take care of Data management, e.g. entering results into laboratory books / systems such as SAP.
  • Work on customer complaints and internal non-conformance. Extract, summarize and collect data for material related investigations
  • Support sales, production and other relevant departments with relevant data




  • University degree or vocational degree within a technical field such as Chemistry, Biology, etc.
  • 3+ years experience in a similar position
  • Fluent English language knowledge
  • Analytical QC experience desired
  • Expert knowledge on gas chromatography and mass spectrometry
  • Good computer knowledge with systems as SAP, Databases, Microsoft Office and Google products
  • Operational experience of a laboratory environment, analytical equipment and instruments
  • Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations
  • Basic Sensory evaluation capability / potential capability
