Executive Planning

Planning Executive - Your future position? Bangalore, Jigani 
 
In this role - As a Planning Executive you will you will execute Process Order/STO planning activities for all semi-finished, finished goods and raw materials.  Assure that orders are proactively created such that products can be manufactured without interruptions. Create a plan in alignment with schedule and production requirements. Ensure agreed stock levels for customers are met.

  • Creation of production plans that is executable and in line with productivity and service targets
  • Review and analyze production requirements in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and production

            capacity to ensure on time customer response times and product availability

  • Manage the daily production schedule to ensure customer orders are manufactured observing

            commitments to customers.

  • Keep customer care and operations team advised of any order issue affecting service levels. Update order information as warranted.
  • Work with material planners to resolve raw material issues.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the replenishment and production systems and processes including MRP, demand and capacity
  • Resolve or escalate supply issues working with internal stakeholders as required. Manage exceptions.
  • Review slow moving and obsolete inventory 
  • Follow Givaudan procedures, guidelines and best-practice on relevant areas including Safety; address and implement where missing
  • Build constructive relationship with partners and teams such as Customer Care, Production, Scheduling,
  • Raw Material planning, Quality, Transport, and GBS Supply Planning to ensure successful execution of

            production plans.

  • Perform special projects to increase efficiency of Planning Department and site.
  • Share best practice and ideas with your team; involve cross-functional teams as needed to achieve the

            most efficient ways of working

  • Support development of training programs, manuals and methods of implementation to assure stable and

            best practice execution of planning

Your professional profile includes:
Education / Background:

 

  • The incumbent should have a bachelor degree.
  • 4-6 year’s experience in supply planning, supply chain, production planning Knowledge of Production

            Planning, Inventory Management, Capacity Analysis,  Demand, Supply and Supply Chain best practice

  • Experience in the flavour, ingredient or fragrance industry is a plus
  • 6 sigma / lean Yellow or Green Belt is a plus
  • Working knowledge BI, BO, MS Office, Google and SAP
  • Strong working knowledge in planning.  Preferably has experience with production scheduling.
