HR Manager - Your new role?

Givaudan has the F&B Commercial & Development center at Mumbai and Manufacturing site at Jigani, Bangalore. In this role, you will partner with the F&B teams involve members from Sales, Evaluation, Application, Creation, Technology & Operations and Shared Services will be members from Finance, IM&T, IM&S & General Services. You will be responsible for driving & implementing HR processes and employee engagement initiatives across Fragrance & Beauty & Shared Services functions. This is an individual contributor role and you will report to the HR Director South Asia based in Mumbai office. In this position, you are also expected to do regular travels to Jigani site. 


Key accountabilities includes:

  • Partner with Businesses in driving high-performance culture by driving objective setting, review and feedback. It involved conducting orientation sessions on Performance Management System, IDP and ensure timely closure of Compensation review     
  • Driving core HR process (Employee Lifecycle) 
  • Partner Talent Acquisition with GBS/Local TA (selection, fitment proposals,   announcements & support induction.)
  • To ensure legal & statutory compliance for site on labour related statuses. 
  • To address all disciplinary issues for all sites, holding meetings with workmen etc.
  • Carry out Skills Gap Analysis and organize on-the-job training wherever required.
  • Carry out Supplier/Contractors Audits in the area of Statutory Compliance.
  • Partner with business and identify, conceptualize Employee engagement interventions ( Communication forums, Training, Outbound, programs) to drive EVP across F&B & Shared Service business
  • Responsible to maintain all Statutory compliances for audits & registers for Jigani site.
  • Take on projects related to HR strategic initiatives , process improvement basis requirements from time to time 
  • Undertake Annual Budgeting Exercise and sourcing plan to commensurate the Business Growth
  • Identify high potential employees in BU / location, develop career plans for them in line with talent management process and ensure roll out / deployment of the development plans as per the identified development plan
  • Driving various change and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Manage the Matrix Environment without any escalation.

 

Your professional profile includes:

  • 12 plus years of experience, preferably from B2B, FMCG, Pharma, Chemical industry. 
  • University Degree with MBA in HR, Finance or any related.
  • You should have strong interpersonal skills and drive for results.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and matrix working environment.
  • You must have high responsibility and accountability.
  • Ideally with strong finance and analytical ability.
  • Strong presentation skills with basic knowledge in MS Office.
