As a Project Manager, you'll lead efforts to refine manufacturing processes, improve expenditure, and uphold stringent regulatory standards. From the initial spark of an idea to its full realization, you'll guide projects through every stage of development, ensuring seamless execution and tangible results. Your Title: Project Manager

You'll be located: Bedford Park, Illinois

Reports to: Engineering and Maintenance Manager

You Will:

Project Execution:

•    Lead all phases of project management from concept to implementation, ensuring understanding of objectives.

•    Develop scope, cost estimates, project justifications, and designs for assigned projects.

•    Ensure work within budget and time constraints while adhering to regulatory standards.

Cost Control/Management:

•    Manage outside contractors, engineering services, and consultants.

•    Develop scopes and expectations for external services and monitor progress, quality, and cost.

•    Identify and address cost deviations promptly.

Team Collaboration:

•    Manage diverse teams, reviewing performance and progress.

•    Identify gaps and develop action plans to achieve.

•    Produce required design documents and specifications, obtain bids, and complete purchases.

Your Profile:

•    Bachelor's degree (Engineering preference)

•    5+ years of related experience (Food manufacturing preference)

•    Project management skills with high complexity projects.

•    Experience in capital project design, cost estimation, and schedule monitoring.

•    Proficient in managing versatile teams and external partners.

•    Technical proficiency, including Excel for maintaining complex spreadsheets.
