Overview:

The individual in this role is expected to establish and lead the implementation of Quality Management and Food Safety Programs, as well as monitor the performance of the programs and initiate continuous improvement initiatives for them.

 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

The individual in this role is assigned with all or part of the following responsibilities:

  • Support implementation of the Customer Quality Service initiatives, including but not limited to:
    • Assess feasibility and hosting customer audit as well as initiate and monitor the CAPA execution
    • Complete Quality-portion of Customer Questionnaire and related documents together with other stakeholders
    • Together with QC, review Specification from the Quality standpoint
    • Review Quality Agreement from the Quality standpoint
    • Evaluate and monitor regional customer requirements as well as industry trends
    • Support Global and Regional projects for Customer Quality Service initiatives
  • Support investigation of Customer Complaint. Lead implementation and monitor CAPA from the complaint.
  • Support implementation of site Quality, Regulatory, and Business related certification, including hosting audit and initiate and monitor the CAPA execution
  • Lead and execute Food Safety programs on site. Monitor the performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives including but not limited to:
    • Food Safety Manual
    • Document and Record Control
    • Product development
    • Specifications (Raw Material, Packaging, Finished Product and Services)
    • Non-Conforming Materials and Rework
    • Complaint Management
    • Food Safety Plan
    • Identification, Traceability, Recall and Withdrawal
    • Allergen Management
    • Training
    • Hygienic Design and Engineering
    • Pest Prevention
    • Maintenance Program
    • Calibration
    • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Personnel Hygiene
    • Environmental Monitoring
    • Utility Supply
    • Receipt, Storage, and Transport
    • Waste Disposal
    • Food Defense
  • Setting up procedures and record the implementation of Quality Management and Food Safety programs
  • Support site and or any other department initiatives in Quality Management area, including but not limited to EHS, CI, Cost Saving, etc.
  • Support Regional and Global initiatives in Quality Management and Food Safety programs
  • Monitor Quality and Food Safety Performance Indicator. Lead continuous improvement initiatives for the Programs.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years related work experience
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Data entry experience a must
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be able to multi-task

 

Experience:

  • The individual in this role must be familiar with Microsoft Office operations.
  • It is value adding if the individual familiar with Food Safety testing instrumentation, including but not limited to Chemistry Testing for Water, Microbiology and ATP Swabbing, and Allergen Swabbing.

 

Work Environment:

  • Factory and Laboratory Environment.
  • Frequent standing and walking.

 

Physical Requirement:

  • Must be able to perceive small color variations. 
  • Hand/Eye coordination and dexterity to handle products and instruments. 
  • May be required to pass a sensory evaluation test.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
