General Services and Facilities Manager at Givaudan – Your future position?
You will be based on-site at our Binh Duong plant partnering with important contact for employees and vendors. Work with vendors to manage and resolve hard and soft facilities operation issues. Ensure our vendors meets all goals as set out in the management contract. You will report to our Finance Manager, Vietnam and Philippines.
Purpose of the role
- On-site key point of contact for employees and vendors.
- Work with vendors to manage and resolve hard and soft facilities operation issues.
- Ensure our vendors meets all key performance indicators as set out in the management contract
Core Responsibilities
Internal Stakeholder Management
- Proactively engage internal stakeholders to ensure that services expectations are met
- Build and develop effective stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of the organisation
- On-site key point of contact for vendors and employees
- Implement and ensure escalation procedures are in place and observed for problem reporting
Vendor Management
- Co-ordinate and monitor the contractor management program
- Provide advisory to vendor on operational issues
- Review monthly financial reports including the preparation of accruals and variance
- Prepare monthly management report for Givaudan’s Management Committee
- Provide feedback on the outsourced staff and suggest relevant training to outsourced agencies
- Administer the master data for approval process in vendor’s application
- Negotiate the terms with vendors with support from IM&S
Continuous Improvement
- Together with Continuous Improvement team, develop initiatives and strategies that lead to cost savings and service improvement
- Active review of service offerings through outsourced management
Social Responsibility
- Lead local projects and initiatives with focus on Health & Wellbeing, Community and Sustainability
Academic background
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, building, business, engineering or other related field
Work Experience & Technical Skills
- Above 5 years’ experience in managing various soft and hard facilities
- Candidates with training and experience from hospitality and service industries would be preferred
- Exposure to office, laboratory or manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Knowledge of vendor management for outsourced services is preferred
- English Fluency is a must
