Raw Material Planner

Naturex AG, a company of the Givaudan Group, is a supplier to the food and, among others, the baby food industry. We produce high-quality fruit and vegetable powders and pectins at our sites in Bischofszell and Burgdorf which are sold worldwide.


As a Raw Material Planner you will manage a large and diverse portfolio of raw materials for the produc-tion sites in Bischofszell and Burgdorf. You will manage the timely availability of raw material to ensure optimal supply to our customers and will lead initiatives to improve our inventory and service level. You will be based in Bischofszell and report directly to the Planning Manager.

You Will:

  • Determine raw material requirements by means of using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to balance forecasted demand and actual inventory levels
  • Ensure efficient availability of raw materials for our production, against the lowest possible inventory levels, through collaboration across the entire supply chain
  • Work with Global Procurement on supplier management and purchasing and supporting on the long-term strategy
  • Manage (review and update) MRP master data
  • Optimisation of inventory levels: identification and categorisation of slow moving raw materials and defining the mitigation regarding raw material management
  • Proactively identify, propose and implement Continuous Improvement (optimisation) along the supply chain
  • Monitor and interpretation of raw material related Measurement's and corresponding action in case of target deviation

You Have:

  • University degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration
  • At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning or Purchasing is preferred
  • Business Fluent in German and English
  • Affinity with ERP systems and analytical tools (for example SAP, BI, BO)
  • Microsoft Office Suite expertise (especially Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets))
  • APICS certification is of advantage
