Join us as Marketing Specialist –

Reporting to our Marketing Manager you will create input and business for the flavors area and the creation of presentations and creative solutions for our clients, aiming to contribute to the flavor proposals we present and differentiate us from the competition. Identify the appropriate tools for each client based on their needs. Create visually engaging presentations for our clients. Conceptualize the content and information of the presentations to make them more dynamic for the clients. Design the necessary marketing and communication materials to promote our positioning and its brands in the AnCam region. Propose creative concepts for building marketing campaigns in the AnCam region.

 

You will be based in our corporate office located in Bogota, working four days onsite and one from home a week.

 

In this exciting role, your main responsibilities will be:

● Be a strategic ally for the commercial area and internal and external clients, thereby knowing where to focus efforts regarding categories and tools to meet each requirement.

● Understand clients and their brands, including their needs, challenges, strategies, and consumers, to bring proposals to them.

● Analyze market data, statistics, and consumer trends at global, regional, and local levels to provide information to clients. Support understanding of the client and consumer knowledge. Analyze potential markets and categories.

● Develop presentations and concepts related to new trends, consumer understanding, and market food and beverages to help our clients create products. Implement global technologies through regional/local projects.

● Plan and coordinate activities and content-related products for client visits.

● Analyze on new product presentations and identify successful products; analyze information, statistics, and consumer trends at levels, compiling it into presentation format for direct use by marketing or sales.

● Organize special events (e.g., Taste Solutions Symposium); lead innovation days for clients to help them develop new projects.

● Participate in EHS management system activities to strengthen safety behavior and health at work.

● Responsible for the Customer Experience initiative in the region.

 

Negotiate and Collaborate:

  • Manage large commercial projects in collaboration with Flavor Creation and Application.
  • Ensure visibility and exposure for us at customers by maintaining and guiding appropriate call frequency with essential product demonstrations and technical to technical interface.
  • Follow up on customer submissions and manage wins through to production and launch.

 

Business Development:

  • Grow our business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines and by generating a broad base of new business opportunities.
  • Cultivate customer relationships with important decision-makers, positioning us as preferred supplier and ensuring we are positioned to participate in targeted briefs and on core supplier lists.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Professional in Marketing, Advertising, or related fields with an emphasis on Marketing.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in marketing or commercial areas
  • Experience in database management, serving as a liaison with suppliers.
  • Desirable knowledge of SAP.
  • Knowledge in project management, tracking through information systems or manually.
  • Proficiency with presentation tools for clients (Flash or PowerPoint) and graphic software (Photoshop or Corel Draw)
