Technical Group Leader, your future position?

Reporting to the Applications Manager, you will manage the laboratory according to our strategy and EHS policies, making applications for dairy and sweet goods, adjusted to the needs of customers and consumer needs, to increase business generation and market share.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Coordinate resources in the performance of daily tasks assigned in the development of the projects including flavoring applications in sweet goods and dairy, complying with the guidelines within the Segment and established timelines.
• Use the tools and systems provided by Givaudan to develop daily tasks, to increase effectiveness, communication and therefore generate higher probability of winning projects.
• Perform technical accompaniment to account executives and clients in the development of the projects, to have a greater proximity and understanding of them and to guarantee the success in the development of the project. project.
• Select flavors for projects following the requirements specified in the brief (e.g., customer, regulations, legislation, cost) and to identify appropriate systems and technologies for each application.
• Manage the performance of the human resource assigned to the segment to accomplish technical goals to meet targets.

You will be on-site based in our facilities located at Bogotá.

Your professional profile includes: 

• University degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry or similar fields. Accounting, or next to graduate.
• At least 7 years of experience in an applications or production lab.
• Expertise in dairy and sweet goods applications.
• Experience with many of the reactions and interactions in common food products and the ability to recommend products and the ability to recommend performance-based flavor modifications.
• Project management skills for clients.
• Ability to translate market trends into innovative products for important customers.
• Upper-intermediate level of English.
