Accounts Payable Accountant- Your future position?
As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will have the chance to take ownership of the accounts payable processes in the Hungarian entity of Givaudan and also to take part in interesting, AP-related projects to improve the process. We welcome junior and experienced colleagues as well!
In this exciting role you will:
- Process and park raw and indirect material, freight, contract & non-PO vendor invoices
- Follow up on these parked items and resolve payment of the possible issues
- Perform reconciliations, invoice/credit memo corrections
- Monitor and resolve open items and decrease the debit balance
- Be a trusted contact for the supplier and the local business as well, answer queries, participate in resolution calls
- Follow and apply all relevant internal audit & business compliance guidelines, controls and policies
- Identify areas of process improvement and deliver measurable results
- Assist in the maintenance of training materials and perform training on AP-related topics
- Analyze root causes of re-occurring errors
- Running standard and ad-hoc reports
Your professional profile includes:
- You have a college/university degree, preferably in Finance/Economics
- You are fluent or native in Hungarian, fluent in English
- You have 0,5-1 year of experience and/or an interest in and knack for this area of profession
- You are familiar with MS Office tools, especially Excel
- SAP knowledge is a good advantage
- You are a great team player who takes ownership of your work and drives results
- You are detail-oriented, accurate, and willing to learn
