Accounts Receivable Team Lead

Accounts Receivable Team Lead – EMEA - Your future position?


Under the direction of the Regional CM and AR Manager, the Accounts Receivable Team Lead is responsible for managing the operation of the AR functions which includes the supervision of daily operations, monitoring all controls to ensure meeting audit requirements with established procedures and approval levels, ensuring proper and timely cash allocation, improving existing processes and meeting key performance indicators both on individual and on regional level.


In this role you will:


  • Lead, coach and develop the Accounts Receivable team of 7 people according to the corporate values
  • Coordinate the cash application, invoicing, reconciliation , commission & rebates, and reporting activities
  • Ensure the AR processes meet the required financial controls that are compliant with regulatory and company policies requirements
  • Ensure excellent collaboration with other internal teams in GBS and at the local sites
  • Build strong partnership with various business partners and stakeholders to provide superior customer experience among internal and external customers
  • Plan and manage resources based on business priorities – including back up, training and succession plans
  • Manage the employee lifecycle (recruitment, retention, target setting, evaluation, performance management and career plans)
  • Drive continuous process improvement mentality in the team, manage and effectively implement the required changes in a timely manner
  • Own and maintain an efficient  reporting system related to daily KPIs and month-end reporting activities , ensure workload is balanced within the team and is adhered to seniority and expertise levels

Your professional profile includes:


  • College or University degree (preferably in related field)
  • 1 – 3 years experience in a similar position
  • Experience in managing an AR team and developing team members along their unique skills and career aspirations
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes
  • Use independent judgment to resolve issues and provide guidance to team members and business partners related to AR procedures and rojects
  • Excellent people manager with high empathy and good communication skills
  • Adaptable in using organizational skills to prioritize tasks and take ownership of work; comfort and ability to deliver results in a flexible, fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to anticipate busy schedules and communicate with other members of the organization/department to complete assignments on time.
  • Proven ability to resolve complex issues
