Business Reporting Team Manager - Your future position?

As a Business Reporting Team Manager in our Budapest site you will manage and provide reporting and analysis to the dedicated reporting stream withint the Center. In charge of monitor team’s performance against deliverables set in the KPIs and against Corporate standards, you will plan and monitor workload accordingly. You will support revisition of Reporting Center activities, make proposals to improve and standardise day-to-day processes and Month-End Closing activities, acting as Business Reporting Deputy Manager. 

 

Main responsibilities:

 

Supporting and coordinating:

  • Ensures on-time and first-time-right delivery of all reports within the stream (run monthly reporting)
  • Coordination of stream tasks focused on functional design and delivery, beyond his/her own area – including report implementation and change
  • In case of major data deviations, escalates to management and suggests a solution (root-cause or manual data adjustment). When needed, issues change request to IT and follow up on the resolution
  • Ensures stream documentation is up to date
  • Supports the Manager in ensuring effective resource allocation and ensuring the going concern
  • Direct Manager backup, ensuring BCP and succession plan

 

Leading:

  • Leading and coaching the team members, while you also plan and monitor the workload of the team
  • Be responsible for goal setting and performance management processes
  • Monitor the team’s performance against deliverables set in the Service Levels Agreements (SLAs) and against the Corporate standard
  • Manage and develop the employees to continuously provide high-quality services to the recipients
  • Manage team specialists to ensure talent development and increase chances of talent retention

 

Participating:

  • Analyze stream activities, make proposals to improve and standardise the processes, the day-to-day activities and Month-End Reporting
  • Participate and coordinate audits and projects, while you will also be working closely and effectively with all business partners involved in respective processes
  • Coordinates preparation of business cases for process and/or systems improvements (point of contact for the IT project)
  • Collects and evaluates KPIs (both quality KPIs and for internal steering) and analyzes these KPIs to unveil further improvement potential, taking into account benchmarking activities

 

Your professional profile includes:

  • University degree in fields related to business, information technology or science 
  • Fluent English level
  • Minimum 5 years in Controlling or Developing roles (reporting tools experience preferred) with proven management and leadership experience
  • Experience with MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, preferably with reporting applications (BO WebI, BO Analysis, BeX query designer) and dashboarding tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Experience with SAP BW Hana
