Customer Care Support Office Representative – Your future position?

The mission of Customer Care Support Office is to contribute to the satisfaction of Givaudan’s customers by processing customer sales orders in a fast and professional manner. It is also our responsibility to respect and fulfill our customers’ special requirements in terms of order setup (special ship-to addresses, packaging, certifications, etc) – and to ensure that these requirements are kept up-to-date. Customer Care Support team acts as the back-office of the greater customer care organisation, delivering proficiency by order entry without direct interlock with customers.

You will be a part of a dynamic team in a dynamic environment, yet, having a solid process and technical background at your disposal. 
 As a Customer care support office representative, your primary responsibility is delivering proficient and efficient sales order entry:

  • Receive and enter customer orders into the system;
  • Prioritize where and if necessary;
  • Confirm orders, pricing, and product availability;
  • Coordinate with partner departments (Front Office, Control Tower, Planning) to ensure orders are dispatched or delivered on time;
  • Follow special requirements of the customers and update respective instructions by changes.

 Even more: you are to organize and liaise with other customer care teams, paying attention to shipping dates, labeling, packaging, and stock holding according to customer requirements.
 Process orientation and attention to details are key for success by us. Feeling up to it?


  • University degree preferred in the field of Supply Chain Management, Sales or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in customer service (Back-office), order management, or sales support;
  • Fluent knowledge in English, both verbal and written, additional language is an advantage;
  • An organized and open-minded personality with good time management skills, customer-oriented attitude, and preciseness;
  • Basic usage of MS Excel and Powerpoint.


 What we consider as an advantage:

  • experience in working with SAP, order management, and related transactions;
  • having an understanding of the technical setup of SAP orders, customer and material master;
  • experience in participating or supporting several projects;
  • understanding of basic continuous improvement principles (A3 project charter, 5xWhy?, PDCA);
  • yellow-belt certification;
  • analytical skills and being good at using MS Excel and Powerpoint.
