COE Packaging Data Analyst
Overall mission:
You will report into the COE Operations Excellence.
As Global Packaging Analyst you will be in charge of managing the technical aspects of the packaging portfolio across regions and divisions and answer directly to the questions of our external and internal customers.
You will help improve primary and secondary packaging materials, with the team of Packaging Engineers, according to the sustainable and cost goals set by the business.
You will support the standardization of packaging processes and shipment preparation and the validation of packaging materials.
You will help develop supply strategy and supplier relationships with the Indirect Materials and Services Category Managers.
Moreover, you will have a significant impact on our business by ensuring that all packaging meet the level of compliance set by the regions where they are traded.

You will:
Reporting
- Conduct the monthly Packaging performance report and maintain the packaging dashboard
- Conduct analyses on Packaging ad hoc requests
Partner Management and Networking
- Be the primary contact for the regions/division for all customer and sales questions related to packaging specifications and act as subject matter expert
- Coordinate packaging validation activities and confirm packaging qualification documents with project teams
- Network with the team of Packaging Engineers, Process Engineering, Procurement, EH&S, Quality and Supply chain teams
- Participation in the evaluation and selection of packaging vendors and periodically conduct vendor reviews
Safety and Quality Management
- Address and report regulatory exposures (Dangerous Goods, Food Contact Materials) and ensure all packaging material meet safety and quality standards in consideration of legal, country requirements and business demands
- Support Operations and Quality teams on issues related to packaging materials, packing equipment to determine best-fit resolutions and dedicated customer issue management for packaging
- Solve Packaging and Labeling issues
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of the technical data linked to the packaging materials in the system and that the pertaining documents are stored in the Global Packaging Repository
Continuous improvement
- Help implement alternative packaging options and new materials following our strategy on Plastic Circularity to meet our 2030 targets on reducing single-use plastics
- Support packaging optimization projects
You:
- Education in Packaging Engineering, with industrial packaging experience
- Knowledge in Packaging related regulations (dangerous goods transport, food contact)
- Good network to associations, regulatory bodies and industry
- Build teams and relationships
