Compensation Specialist

About the Role

As a compensation specialist, you'll support the development and administration of Givaudan’s compensation program on a global level. Reporting directly to the Global Reward Solutions Lead you will be a part of our global compensation team, working closely with the Compensation and Rewards Center of Expertise local HR Managers and Payroll officers and external service providers.

 

You Will:

 

  • Implement: You will conduct job evaluations, internal and external data analyses, trend identification, equity comparisons. You will participate in global compensation surveys and analyze survey results to identify compensation trends and support compensation benchmarking activities and salary structure development and maintenance. You will take part in managing the annual salary review and short term incentive processes.

 

  • Administrate: You will assist with compensation reporting activities within established processes and governances to meet business analysis requirements. You will conduct job evaluations, internal and external data analyses, trend identification, equity comparisons. You will document all current compensation practices/procedures.

 

  • Develop: You will participate in special projects such as enhancement of compensation systems and tools to support continuous process improvement efforts. You will assist in the development of compensation education and training materials. You will provide guidance to HR community on company compensation policies and practices. You will also manage corrective action plans for issue resolution.

 

You Have:

 

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in HR or Finance, preferably with 2 years in the field of compensation.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Access database, Advance Visual Basic knowledge is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and reporting software – SAP/Success Factors preferred
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to synthesize information and data from a variety of sources and translate into business considerations
