Controlling Reporting Accountant

About the role:


As a member of our Controlling and Reporting Team in Budapest, you will End-to-End manage the Controlling and Record to Report activities within the EMEA region. You will report to the Controlling Reporting Team Lead in this role. 


You will:


Controlling: You will maintain Product Cost Master Data, and workflow items in SAP, you will manage and provide Standard Cost Calculation (for running products and new products). You will manage and create Actual Cost run and perform revaluation of Consumption. You will also record Production Cost and Cost of Goods Sold, including period-end closing and variance analysis (Variances Reports, Actual Cost Splitting Reports for Cost Centers). You will manage inventory control and valuation (perform inventory closing, variance, provision).


Accounting: You will book journal entries, clear General Ledger accounts, and take an active part in ensuring the accurate completion of the month/year-end closing activities, including accruals, and revaluation. You will reconcile the Balance sheet accounts.


Reporting: You will complete reporting activities (periodic - month-end close related - and ad hoc)

You have:


  • University or College degree ( Finance/Accounting/Economics)
  • min. 2 or more years of GL accountant and/or Controlling experience
  • Sound knowledge of SAP FI preferred
  • Fluent English
  • Good command of Microsoft Excel
