E2E Financial & Reporting Accountant? Your future position?

 

  • The purpose of this position is to provide reporting services to ensure and provide the required services to all our customers according to agreed service levels and within laws and regulations. You will report to the Controlling-reporting Team Lead.

 

You will:

  • Build constructive and effective relationships with the business and partners
  • Take over ownership to find solution for encountered issues
  • Collaborate with local Finance and 3rd party data provider to support their daily operations

Reporting Processes

  • Prepare site business reports and perform next level of analysis to provide to Financial controllers
  • Support the annual budget process for the site
  • Submit IFRS data to 3rd party supplier enabling Statutory adjustment for local purposes
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting upon request and inform activities with GSO
  • Analyse Reporting activities, make proposals to improve and standardize the processes

Finance processes

  • Book journal entries, clear GL accounts, take active part and ensure the accurate completion of the month/year end closing activities, including accruals, revaluation; Provide data for auditors
  • You will manage the Accounting (as per IFRS / Givaudan Group standard) of the sites that do not have a local finance representative
  • Create payment entries in the online Bank platform
  • Complete reporting (month end close related - and ad hoc) and reconcile Balance sheet accounts
  • Work with all partners involved in 3rd party data provider
  • Prepare of monthly Indicator reports and ensure that the targets are met
  • Understand and ensure compliance with the relevant Policies

Migration and Improvement

  • Ensure knowledge transfer goals are met
  • Prepare and update work instructions, process manual
  • Contribute to and manage end-to-end process improvements
  • Participate in and coordinate projects
  • Provide support and train junior team members and ensure knowledge transfer

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • Diploma: Finance degree (College or University or Chartered Accountant, Tax Advisor)
  • Languages: good English in writing and communication, any second language is an advantage
  • Professional experience:  2-4 year GL Accounting experience

 

Technical skills :

  • Skills: Advanced MS excel (can perform complex functions), SAP and IFRS knowledge, Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines, photocopiers and scanners, Good keyboarding and data entry speed.
  • Functional certifications: Understanding of legal regulations, corporate policies and work instruction; Compliance with Health and Safety at work Act and fire and work protection regulations, Aware of management regulations and other directives and act accordingly
