Controlling-Reporting Junior Accountant - Your future position?

As a Controlling-Reporting Junior Accountant in our Budapest office, you will perform controlling and reporting tasks o deliver the required services to all internal and external customers according to agreed service levels and within laws and regulations. You will ensure correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in Finance & Controlling according to the requirements specified in your job description, taking direction from the direct Manager, Team Lead and GSEs on specific tasks

Main responsibilities:

Business Partnering

• You will build relationships with the business and stakeholders
• You will take over ownership and try to find the solution for encountered issues and problems by involving more senior colleagues
• You will collaborate with local Finance to support their daily operations
• You will Follow up on any issue and inform the Team Lead in a timely manner
• Represent Givaudan DNA and CI mindset

Professional responsibilites

• Inventory control and valuation (perform inventory closing, variance, WIP calculation, provision)
• Book journal entries, clear GL accounts, take active part and ensure the accurate and timely completion of the month/year end closing activities, including accruals, revaluation, providing data for auditors
• Complete reporting (month end close related) and reconcile Balance sheet accounts
• Follow the internal audit control point and ensure the completeness
• Understand and follow processes with the relevant Policies
• Perform daily workflow requests (Transfer pricing and Material related)
• Analyse Controlling/Reporting activities, make proposals to improve and standardize the processes
• Take part in the yearly Budget process
• Perform regular and ad-hoc reporting upon request

Required skills:

• Finance degree (college or university or Chartered accountant, Tax advisor)
• English proficiency
• Professional experience: 0-2 years in Finance area (Controlling, factory experience preferred, GL Accountant)
