Overall mission:

 

- The purpose of this position is to manage and provide reporting and monitoring services to the Regional Demand Planning team. Ensure service execution is in accordance to agreed service levels and within laws and regulations.

- You will be reporting to the Head of Demand Planning Europe


Main responsibilities:

 

- Reporting and Monitoring
- Support data preparation for demand reviews and S&OP meetings
- Populate standard reports and analysis for the Regional Demand Planning team (incl. regular KPIs and demand alerts monitoring)
- Support the Regional Demand Planning team in various demand analysis requests
- Prepare systems (e.g. open reporting occasion), load data, check data quality and accuracy
- Ensure master data (e.g. customer, products, segments) is maintained and updated for the upcoming reporting cycle 
- In case of major data deviations, escalate to management and suggest a solution (root-cause or manual data adjustment), if needed issue a change request to IT and follow up on resolution
- Analyse Reporting/Monitoring activities, make proposals to improve and standardize the processes


Report implementation and change

 

- Document and maintain report requirements in specific documents, e.g. detail designs (layout and technical information), report inventory, reporting calendar, and KPI dictionary
- Technical design reports (layout, link to data sources, KPI calculation) and queries 
- Check data availability and change requirements to data model
- Perform testing and report issues 
- Train Demand Planning team members in reporting application usage, process execution, and functionalities 
- Provide user support for reporting applications and drive issue resolution


Continuous improvement and innovation

 

- Ensure harmonization and alignment within the department
- Ensure knowledge transfer objectives are met
- Prepare and update work instructions and process manuals


Education / Primary Qualification:


•Diploma: Business Administration, Data Science, Finance or technical degree (college or university)
•Languages: good English in writing and communication
•Professional experience: minimum 2 years in an analytics role


Technical skills :


•Skills: Advanced MS Excel (basic VBA skills) and MS Powerpoint, experiences with reporting applications (preferably BO WebI, BO Analysis for Office, BeX query designer) or others (e.g. Hyperion, QlikView, etc.), basic knowledge of SAP BW Hana, good communication skills
