Financial Accountant - Your future position?

As a member of the Finance and Controlling team in Budapest, you will complete complex Intercompany and Fixed assets accounting activities. You will be a part of the Financial Accounting team supporting the Givaudan entities all over the world and will report to the Financial Accounting Team Leader.

You Will:

• Take active part and ensure the completion of the month and year-end closing activities

• Prepare monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations related to Fixed assets and Intercompany

• Support internal and external audits with providing the necessary data

• Maintain a cooperative relationship with the partners and other colleagues from all around the world

• Prepare and maintain process manuals/WI up-to-date

Fixed assets and CAPEX Accounting:

• You will manage the accounting process for the whole life cycle of assets including providing guidance in Fixed Asset and CAPEX area:

• Post and settle the Fixed asset-related journal entries

• Perform the capitalization, disposal, master data changes

• Prepare CAPEX monitoring reports and take part in the Fixed Asset physical inventory

Intercompany Accounting:

• You will perform Intercompany billing, accounting, and reporting activities:

• Non-trade related invoice posting (Royalty, R&D, expat)

• Trade-related invoice posting with MIRO

• Reconcile intercompany invoices, investigate and adjust differences between the books

You Have:

• Diploma in the field of Finance or equivalent (like Chartered accountant)

• About 2 years of experience in accounting (fixed asset and intercompany accounting experience is an advantage)

• You are fluent in English (verbal and written format), any other language knowledge considered as a nice to have

• You have gained experience working in SAP and you have excellent MS office proficiency
