As a Financial Trade Affairs Analyst you will support the preferential origin end-to-end process. One of your key responsibilities will be to perform the determination of preferential origin eligibility. This involves evaluating products and assessing whether they meet the criteria for preferential treatment under trade agreements or regulations. In this role you will partner with internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Operational Buyers, Planning, Customer Care, Pricing, Commercial, Global Trade Affairs to ensure the smooth execution of the preferential origin process.
You will report to the Financial Trade Affairs Team Manager and you will be located in Budapest.
You will:
- Support and analyse: you will drive the process of collecting and maintaining supplier's preferential origin statuses with the support of Operational Buyers and Procurement. You will perform the determination of preferential origin eligibility and support the business and provide analysis on the reasons of non-eligibility.
- Manage processes: you will manage the end-to-end process with the technical solution in SAP system. You will act as process owner of the preference origin solution. You will issue trade affair documents required for audit purposes.
- Liaise with stakeholders: you will liaise with local finance and operations for the day-to-day steps of the process. You will be in connection with Global Trade Affairs on any compliance / regulatory questions, and with IT and Process Owners on any system related issues.
You have:
· Economics or International Business Economics degree preferably
· Fluency in English
· 0-3 year relevant experience in business analysis, finance, international business in a multinational environment
· MS Excel knowledge
· Experience with SAP system is an advantage
· Ability to work independently and in a team
