Overall mission:

 

  • Perform Supply Planning processes, following defined standard operating procedures and maintain an overview of overall Supply Planning team activities.
  • Contribute to the achievement of Supply Planning performance and quality standards as defined in relevant service level agreements.
  • Be a main contact for the team leads and the Head of Planning concerning defined processes.
  • You will be reporting to the Supply Planning Team Manager

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Actively improve processes
  • Provide professional support for colleagues
  • Build constructive relationships with cross functional teams and partners
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners by phone or by email
  • Be a contact person for with important stakeholders for operational topics
  • Co-operation with other work streams within the GBS in overseeing the end-to-end process
  • Daily operations in the Supply Planning area:

For global vendor managed materials:

  • Increase inbound supply patterns and evaluate exception requests from VMI Planner
  • Manage planning parameters and lead time data and evaluate exception requests from VMI Planner
  • Identify material supply constraints and collaborate with global Supply Chain team to develop resolution options
  • Create presentation material for supply review and executive S&OP

For global vendor managed materials and non-vendor managed materials:

  • Increase network inventory levels and evaluate exception requests from site
  • Manage strategic stockholding requests for raw materials
  • Create material requirements plan
  • Manage long term supply issues
  • Observe service levels
  • Follow procedures

 

Education/ primary qualification:

  • Diploma: Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Languages: Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business environment, additional languages are an advantage
  • Professional experience: 1– 3 years of experience in Planning

 

Required skills:

  • Experience with SAP PP/MM modules is an advantage
  • Advanced MS Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
  • Relevant process experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong numeracy and administration skills
  • Experience of knowledge transfer activity
  • Experience in a shared service center is an advantage
