Overall mission:

The Global Supply Planning Lead is responsible to lead the Supply of Ingredients and limit impacts of Ingredients shortages on the Compounding sites and Customers by leading the Critical items management as well as developing Ingredients allocation plans and alternatives strategies, in collaboration with Procurement; Formula Management; Planning local, regional and global teams, Manufacturing global and local teams. The Global Supply Planning Lead is a key contributor to Risk Mitigation and Management.

You will be reporting to the Global Head of Ingredients Supply Chain.

This is a fixed term contract for 2 years (Maternity cover).

Flexible Location: This position can be covered from Argenteuil (France), Ashford (United Kingdom), Baierbrunn (Germany), GBS Budapest (Hungary), Sant Celoni (Spain) and Vernier (Switzerland)

Main responsibilities:

Ingredients supply:

• Lead the Ingredients Critical Items management globally as well as communications around it. In coordination with the ING manufacturing sites.
• Global allocation of critical materials, being a leader and actor of the discussions with Procurement, GBS R&F Teams, Manufacturing, Quality, FIM and Supply Chain teams.
• Work on preventive actions & tools enhancement together with the regions and sites to better monitoring out of stock projections to reduce risk exposure.
• Balance interests of F&B manufacturing sites & Supply Chain globally
• Define optimal allocation considering sales priorities and coordinating with commercial teams
• Ensure that costs to serve decisions are the most appropriate and case specific
• Decide about the need of expedite mode of transport
• Define reallocation between the sites globally with spot STO solution
• Define and communicate potential planning parameter and planning policy changes towards GBS Supply Planners

• Global Supply Chain & CI mindset:
• Be a strength of proposal for identifying improvement measures, further developing our processes and organization.
• Participate and be an active actor for new projects & improvement sessions for global supply chain processes
• Provide support to other global supply chain processes as needed including OBCPs.

Education / Primary Qualification:

• Diploma: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemical sciences or other
• Languages: Fluency in English, French a plus.
• Professional experience: At least 5 years of experience into a leading role, global or regional planning function. Supply Chain expertise with End-to-end process understanding. Knowledge of Fragrance products, Ingredients manufacturing an asset.
• Functional certifications: APICS CPIM certification is a plus

Technical skills:

• SAP knowledge, BI, BOA tools
• Advanced analytical and MS Excel skills
