Head of Purchase-to-Pay delivery EMEA - Your future position?


The Head of PTP Delivery is responsible for all operational aspects of the recently borning PTP delivery in the newly established Business Center in Budapest. You will lead all PTP teams with approximately 100+ employees in the respective center and reports into the Global Solution Owner Source-to-Pay (GSO STP).


In this role you will be responsible for:


People management

 

  • Lead the PTP delivery teams in the center (from Request to Invoice payment)
  • Perform goal setting and performance review for PTP team managers
  • Plan and support hiring and replacement decisions and retention measures
  • Plan and coordinate people development activities and set training plans

 

Solution performance & improvement management

 

 

  • Monitor PTP delivery performance against operational targets and take action to resolve gaps
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Resolve operational issues through root cause analysis and mitigation actions
  • Monitor compliance of service delivery with process documentation

 

Governance, stakeholder & controls

 

  • Act as an escalation point in case of process/system issues & questions
  • Support the Global Solution Owner STP in preparing and executing tactical governance alignment with functions/divisions
  • Secure ICS conformity, including SOD catalog management and related mitigation controls

 

Budget management

 

  • Propose, monitor and control operational PTP budget within the scope and take required actions


Your professional profile includes

 

 

  • University or College degree preferably in Economics/Finance or Business administration
  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in Procurement
  • 7+ years’ experience in a team-leading role as well as experience in a shared services environment (Running and building)
  • Fluency in English
  • Expert knowledge of relevant SAP modules (SRM, FI)
  • Good knowledge of MS office
  • Good understanding of finance and accounting
  • Willingness to travel (20%)
