About the Role

 

You will be a member of the Finance and Controlling team based in Budapest. You will complete complex IFRS accounting activities to support the International Business and ensure compliance with the company policies, internal controls, laws and regulations, and accounting standards. You will participate also in team management as a stream specialist.

 

You Will:

 

  • Manage the Group Chart of Accounts and ensure it is correct and up-to-date
  • Provide guidelines and challenge the requests of affiliates for modification of the Group Chart of Accounts
  • Create and maintain Corporate Finance Manuals and Ensure that other Corporate policies are aligned with IFRS regulations and standards
  • Prepare the draft Accounting disclosures for External Financial Statements following IFRS updates
  • Identify IFRS problem areas in a set of financial statements, fact pattern and to recommend a solution
  • Drive projects autonomously from project set up and planning to work towards targets, ensuring the correct implementation
  • Participate in gathering and translating IFRS requirements to identify risks and suggest additional control points
  • Ensure all solutions implemented are aligned with IFRS regulations and standards

 

You Have:

 

  • A degree in Finance or equivalent (like CPA/ACCA/CIA)
  • Proficiency in English (French knowledge is an advantage)
  • You have more than 5 years of professional experience in Finance and IFRS accounting
  • You understand the risks in applying and financial reporting effects of IFRS
  • Experience in Project and Stakeholder Management
  • Professional experience enforcing Laws, Rules, and Regulations
  • A passion for working with analytical tasks and capability to achieve results
  • Excellent SAP and Microsoft Office skills
