Payroll Support Specialist - Your future position?

 

You will support the GBS HR Global Payroll Services team to resolve payroll related queries and requests by applying relevant organizational procedures. You will be an escalation and processing contact for payroll matters following the agreed operating model. You will engage with external or other 3rd parties, in providing defined services. Your main areas in this role: service delivery, documentation, knowledge management, vendor management.

You will be based in Budapest, Hungary and report to Global Payroll Services Manager.

 

You will:

 

  • Manage outsourced international payrolls (receiving, validating, and completing payroll related data activities)
  • Handle customer and vendor queries/requests on payroll, escalated by the GBS HR Services team
  • Apply organizational payroll policies, practices and procedures to analyse situations or data to resolve customer queries
  • Investigate on requests, by analyzing the nature of the request / diagnosing the problem and routing it to the appropriate next line support within GBS; prioritize issues
  • Collaborate with other members of the GBS HR organization and the payroll provider, to resolve complex customer queries/requests in payroll
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and research inconsistencies in the information before resolving customer queries in payroll
  • Develop payroll related reports, data files and audits by 3rd parties and Vendors
  • Be a Tier 2 contact for RPCs across the GBS network for payroll continuous improvement
  • Support knowledge management efforts within the GBS HR team about payroll
  • Be up to speed on the latest policy changes in payroll and train the GBS HR Services team representatives on the changes as applicable
  • Engage with the payroll vendor and ensure they meet Service level agreements and key performance indicators. Provide input for GSO or others, on vendor performance
  • Participate in payroll implementation and transition projects as Subject Matter Expert, if needed

 

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent English language
  • 3+ years in a payroll related position in a shared service / customer service environment
  • Experience in payroll processing and payroll coordination
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • SAP background is preferred
