Overall mission:

 

  • You will lead and manage assigned team leads and team members in Supply Planning area, ensuring they perform efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure accurate processing in Supply Planning, following performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements.
  • Partner with Supply Chain functions locally, regionally and globally
  • This is a maternity coverage for 2 years (January 2027)
  • You will be reporting to the Senior Supply Manager GBS EMEA

 

Main responsibilities:

 

Operations

 

  • You will oversee day to day operations in the Global and Regional Supply Planning area

 

Technical standards

 

  • Ensure team members within assigned work area maintain appropriate levels of technical competence (training and development)
  • Contribute, as required, to the maintenance and updating of processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with internal operating and control procedures

People Management

 

  • Day to day management of assigned teams
  • Set clearly defined performance goals for assigned teams, ensuring appropriate understanding of performance/ quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements
  • Monitor performance, against agreed goals, of assigned team leads and teams taking corrective action to improve individual performance
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Participate in recruitment of team lead and team members

Service delivery

  • You will contribute to the development of service level agreements
  • Monitor performance of assigned work teams against performance/ quality standards defined
  • Actively works to continuously improve processes
  • Review and approve reports
  • Manage difficult queries from markets and sites
  • Manage relationship and communication with markets and sites

 

Education/ primary qualification:

 

  • Diploma: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Languages: Proficient in English

Professional experience:

 

  • Min. 5 years of experience in Planning
  • Min. 2 year in a team-leading role
  • Min. 1 year of working in a shared services environment

 

Required skills:

 

  • Analyze information and identify trends or areas of risk exposure
  • Knowledge of SAP MM/PP/SD Modules
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Communicate effectively at all levels
  • Operate in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Understanding of Supply Chain concepts
  • Understanding of planning concepts,
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP desirable
  • Continuous Improvement training
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (~ 5%)
