Overall Mission:

As a Global Product Costing Trainee with Givaudan, you will use your passion for cost accounting, costing, analysis, and attention to detail. This position presents an excellent opportunity to gain initial professional experience within the controlling and costing domain while acquiring knowledge in the SAP ERP system and related analytical tools in the dynamic international environment of a global leader in Fragrance & Beauty and Taste & Wellbeing. You will become an integral member of the Global Costing Team, and you will report to the Product Costing Team Lead based in Budapest.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor relevant variances in product costing and the quality of costing data, including Master Data and Purchase Price Variances
• Prepare inputs for the escalation of issues and facilitate necessary corrections
• Participate in various projects related to costing and ongoing improvement initiatives
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and respond to specific requests, assisting the Global Costing Team members with regional topics
• Assist with executing product costing updates
• Collaborate with team members and share innovative ideas
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and meetings as required
• Seek feedback and actively work on developing your skills

Educational/Technical background:

• Enrollment in a university or college program in Business, Controlling, or Finance-related fields
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Preferably 0 to 1 year of work experience in Controlling
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, with preferred experience in reporting applications such as SAP, SAP BOA, and BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail
