IM&T OPS Purchase and Contract management Team Lead - Your future position?

As an IM&T OPS Purchase and Contract management Team Leader you will manage and develop a team of Purchasing team-members for IM&T operations, in charge of the Purchasing and Contract management activities, globally. Ensures operations on a good service level related to purchasing & contract management. In these areas ensures continuous improvements. Manages his/her area with a

proactive & solution orientated approach.

 

In this role you will:

 

 

Processes

 

∙ Develops, manages & operates standard global purchasing and contract management Process

∙ Makes sure updated and actual process documentation (Standard Operating Procedure) is available

∙ Initiates Continuous Improvements opportunities involving & managing team members also

∙ Problem solving in case of purchasing and contract management

 

Reporting

∙ Develops and operates KPIs & SLAs in his/her respective areas

∙ Develops and prepares comprehensive management reporting on a regular basis

∙ Handles (provides resolution) relevant escalations

 

Stakeholder Management

∙ Manages relevant stakeholders

∙ Gives support to internal stakeholders and shares relevant information with them

∙ Manages regular meetings with WPS bundle managers to give update about daily operational topics

 

Team management

∙ Monitor performance of team members and workload

∙ Suggest development opportunities and assess training needs

∙ Lead, coach and manage a team of Purchasing team-members and Contract Managers. Coordinate and monitor daily work; organise and lead trainings, conduct performance reviews and work out personal development plans per Givaudan people management processes & requirements.

 

Main everyday operational tasks (including but not limited to)

∙ Processing AskMe tickets

∙ Creating shopping carts, purchase requests

∙ Creating GRs

∙ Delivering purchasing and contract admin problem management

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • Diploma: University or College degree
  • Fluent in English/ any other European language is a plus
  • Min. 1 year of experience of negotiating and managing performance against service level agreements
  • Experience with change management concepts & best practices such as Prosci/Adkar a plus
  • Analyzing information and identifying trends or areas of risk exposure
  • Knowledge of SAP MM/PP/SD Modules
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • +2 years of experience in a Team Lead role
  • Experience in Procurement and Finance
  • Experience in supplier and customer relationship
  • Good knowledge of informatics: SAP and Excel
  • Good understanding of IT tools
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Communicate effectively at all levels
  • Operate in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Understanding of Supply Chain concepts
  • Understanding of planning concepts,
  • Lean Green Belt certified
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP desirable
  • Continuous Improvement training preferred
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (~ 10%)
