Regional Demand Planner - Budapest (Hungary) - Your future position?

 

Overall mission:

 

Demand planning is instrumental in Givaudan’s continued strategic and operational-excellence. With focus on Eastern Europe sub region, you will build a consensus demand plan for the next 24 months, coordinate with relevant partners (sales, customer care, supply chain), identify trends, research demand drivers and analyse demand alerts to develop demand forecasts supporting excellence in execution and enabling exceptional customer experiences. You will be based in Budapest, reporting to the Head of Demand Europe (#LI-Hybrid).

 

You will:

 

  • Identify opportunities for demand plan improvements including forecasting accuracy and bias, business evaluation (losses, wins, life-cycle changes), new product introduction and first-time orders, seasonal and promotional activities.
  • You will manage early warning process and conduct regular demand review meetings with both the commercial organization and customers.
  • You will communicate and build relationships with Operations and Commercial teams (internal and external customers) and will be the primary contact between the supply chain and the commercial organization together with customer care.
  • Contribute to the development and implement Demand Planning Strategy, focusing on the Eastern Europe sub region, aligned with Sales and Operations’ Road-map. Following the Givaudan DNA, you will look and propose process optimizations and simplifications to enhance the productivity and the customer experience.

 

You:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or others
  • Minimum 4 years relevant work experience in inventory management, demand forecasting, supply chain management or financial planning in a multinational work environment
  • Affinity to systems and analytical tools (SAP, BI/BO)
  • ERP/MRP Expertise
  • At ease with high volume of numbers and ability to combine overviews
  • Fluency in English
  • Desired APICS Certification
