Risk Control Analyst - Your future role?

As a Risk Control Analyst in our Budapest office, you will be a member of the Group Accounting & Risk Control team and complete complex activities related to Internal Control (ICON) and Segregation of Duties (SoD). These activities are supporting the business and ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

You will report to the Risk Control Manager.

 

Your main responsibilities:

Perform internal control and SoD reporting related activities, following defined standard operating procedures. Communicating with teams and partners (Finance managers, GSOs, GSE's, RSC's, ect) and external (Audit provider) partners. Prepare and maintain the process manuals and work instructions. Participate in financial workshops and trainings. Participate in the Risk Assessment process by identifying and addressing important financial risk to the relevant process owners and important partners. Complete any other tasks assigned by the Risk Control Manager or Group Accounting & Risk Control Manager.

Take an active role in identifying improvement opportunities. Identify potential issues, solve them, and escalate if necessary. Propose process improvement projects and assess their impact on business processes. Participate in professional projects.

 

Segregation of duties (SoD)

  • Operate the control and sanity check in the GRC system on a daily basis.
  • Perform periodic monitoring processes, including weekly SOD reports and "site reviews."
  • Manage the mitigation process by preparing, and following up with the business on mitigation reports.

 

Internal Control (ICON)

  • Conduct the yearly cycle/update and control change management. Discuss the control effectiveness with relevant stakeholders and implement changes if necessary.
  • Manage spot checks by reviewing saved evidence on a monthly basis and providing feedback to control owners.

 

Audit support

  • Provide support for onsite external audit work. Coordinate with relevant partners to provide all requested documents for auditors.
  • Serve as the contact person for with all contributors regarding auditing needs.
  • Regularly maintain process-related documents such as procedures.
  • Communicate all necessary information about possible audit findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Safeguard the agreed audit process and communicate all audit dates to all partners.

 

You have:

  • Diploma: University or College degree ( preferably Finance/Accounting/Economics)
  • Languages: Fluent in English; any other language will be an asset
  • Professional experience: 1 - 5 years of Shared services environment
  • Experience in SAP
  • Experience with financial risk identification and remediation
  • Customer service skills
  • Committed to self development
